From the first phone call to Dean to the last drive away after install, Dean was a true professional. The customer service he delivers, which is top notch, is so refreshing. But let’s talk about the art in which his team lays these floors!!!!! I was honored to be able to watch the skill and process from tearing up the flooring (over 3 tons by the way) to laying the new White Oak Select throughout the whole first floor which was over 2400 square ft of area. The wood selection was amazingly beautiful and I still have not been able to pick my favorite board! They explained the process, answered all my inquisitive questions as they were working, and finished on time and on budget. I could not be more pleased and look forward to the next phase with Dean and Kyle (part of the team that makes magic happen). I will let the images of before, during, and after speak for themselves. (By the way, I did not find one nail on the floor after the rip out) bravo guys!!! I could not be any happier and 6 months later, I am still an awe of this floor!
I love my new floors they installed. They were caring, professional, time and cost-effective. Dean made sure everything lived up to mine and his expectations. They moved appliances, furniture and put everything back after they cleaned up, leaving the rooms spotless.
Excellent service, excellent installation, and excellent finished product. Dean was very easy to work with, returned my call, and promptly came to estimated cost (bedrooms needed to go from carpet to hardwood). I was given a timeline as to the start and finish of the project, and this timeline was followed. I appreciated that Dean took care of ordering the hardwood and delivered it to our home. Kyle did fantastic work. He was here every day for 5 days, on time, and worked tirelessly to install and stain new hardwood on my second floor. He very clearly knows what he’s doing. He is friendly and professional. The reason for the missing stars is Dean. Dean asked for final payment (half of the total job balance) before Kyle had even finished the job on Friday. The first time I asked to wait until it was dry so we can check it out. I texted him a few hours later that some minor trim pieces were forgotten (no big deal), but that the stair grain was extremely rough compared to the other flooring. He said he’d come by Monday morning to review. Dean comes Monday morning and I can sense he was frustrated he had to be there. He said that they can hand scuff and recoat to see if that’ll help and they’ll fix the trim. As soon as Dean finished on the stairs he wanted final payment. I said I’d prefer if we waited again until the finish coat he applied was dry so we can touch it and see if it’s better. Dean raised his voice and said that he “wasn’t happy” and he needed money in the bank, the job “per the contract was completed” (even though it wasn’t even dry yet), and it wasn’t fair to him that we basically weren’t trusting him. My husband told him we could pay him half the balance due, but we really just wanted to wait a few hours until that final coat was dry. Apparently that was unacceptable to Dean and I eventually had to ask him to leave. Funny thing is, if Dean had waited just a few hours, I would have texted him the stairs are much better now and this review would have been 5 stars. He got his full payment less than 16 hours later. Going forward, I hope Dean realizes the customers problems and concerns should be shared with him, not the other way around. Dean did apologize and acknowledged his behavior was unprofessional, but that doesn’t really change my experience with this whole ordeal. Overall, very happy with the workmanship, but disappointed with the personal side of the transaction.
They look great again. The owner, Dean is kind, professional, fair pricing, and has a great work ethic. His employee Kyle is a perfectionist, hard working, and does a great job.
We had a floor stain that needed to be fixed quickly. Dean’s was super responsive, affordable, and fixed the stain the same day. Great service and great to work with. Highly recommend them!
Dean and Kyle made our 35 year old floors look like new. The process did not require any sanding, only buffing and the wood product. Beautiful finish. They moved all the heavy furniture and came back to set in place. Very happy with process and results.

Dean & Kyle are very neat, punctual and really care about doing a quality job. My kitchen was remodeled back in 2012 with new hardwood installed at that time. I was never really thrilled with the finish that was put on the floor and it really didn't hold up well to foot traffic, chairs and a large dog with heavy paws. Dean's sanded down the floors, re-stained, sealed, put on a coat of polyurethane and returned and applied a coat of Dura Clear. My floors now look fantastic and I'm confident that the sealer, poly and Dura Clear they applied will keep my floor looking good for many years! I highly recommend Dean's Flooring.
I absolutely love my newly refinished hardwood floors! Dean’s Floor Service refinished my living room, dining room, den, hall and stairs. They also installed custom trim. We've used them twice now and couldn't be happier with the results . Deans a perfectionist! most floor guys leave your home with a thick coat of dust that takes forever to lean. Not these guys. Their machines suck it all up as the do the floors. It's amazing. No mess!
